How do you ask a girl to homecoming dance?

There is this girl in my Algebra 2 class that i already like, I don’t really know her and she probably doesn’t even know me. How would you ask her to homecoming?
It depends when the dance is. If its in a very short time, you should just take control and ask her the next time you see her. You might want to ask her when she isn’t around lots of her friends so if she says no you won’t be laughed at, which is unlikely because she probably has nice friends, which is why she is friends with them. If its a few weeks or so, make friends with her slowly. Don’t creep her out by asking to walk her to her locker or something, that would just be awkward and weird. Just talk to her about school and make jokes and stuff. : )
