Learn to Dance Blog

I’m a thirteen year old girl and I want a fourteen year old boy to grind me at this dance but I don’t know how to let him know without being too obvious. Help!

WOW most of these answers barely even help.
this is how you do it…
most of the time if the guy is mature enough for grinding then he will pretty much be grinding in the crowd with other people. just because you grind with a guy does not mean LOVE or a CRUSH. its just fun and dancing so dont feel bad if he is with other girls cus he is not ur boyfriend right?
all you have to do is when hes with some other girl come from him at another angle like the front or back. trust me a guy barely ever refuses a grind with any girl because its just fun for everyone nothing serious! but if there is a girl in the front and back or your not into grinding with him with another girl grinding on him already then just wait and mingle in the crowd until the song changes then just slip your way in.
you should back up on him at first. then if he is really into it ( you can tell by his movements) then you can turn forward and grind with him face to face.
when your done just walk away and another girl will take your place.

ITS THAT SIMPLE.
i was nervous my first time and its harder for boys because we dont want to freak out girls. but we never refuse a good grind.

dont try to act all experienced if your not guys like girls if there not cus then we can lead but if you know what your doing its more fun cus guys can just enjoy is how good you are lol.

grinding is not that big of a deal kissing is is a bigger deal lol
most guys ( 95%) dont even get h@rd when grinding cus its not that big of a deal!!!!!!!!

and the next day you can tell him
" haha that was fun yesterday"
and you can start a nice conversation.

So apparently I can’t dance, which is no surprise to me. However, my girlfriend thinks it’s hilarious how I can’t.  Anyways, I play guitar and drums (for many years) so I know I have some sense of rhythm. But I just don’t know what to do or how to
Move?  I really want to learn so I can at least do something when we go out. 

Any good videos on YouTube or other Internet resources where I can learn to casual/club dance

I suggest that you take Jazz and/or Hip-Hop (break dance) dance lessons.

NO, dance lessons are not only for girls. Back in the 17th century, women were not allowed to dance, only men were given the privilege.

Many dance studio’s thrive to have male dancer’s; there are just very few that have the ‘guts’ enough to join dance classes.

You do not even have to take a class with a group of people! You can take private lessons.
