How do people dance at a Lady Gaga concert?
Author: admin
I’m going to a Lady Gaga concert in August, and I was wondering what kind of dancing there is as I’ve never been to a concert before.
Also, what should I wear?
However you want! Jumping, whatever. She talks about how, at her concerts, you should just let go and have fun. I danced my a$$ off. Just dance, as they say.
Wear something colorful, outrageous if you feel bold. I was going to wear my blue wig, but I thought it would be too much. Turns out, I ended up feeling underdressed. Guys and girls were in heels, and they were sporting all her popular video trends (soda can curlers, caution tape, cigarette glasses, the works). But, you don’t have to if you don’t want to, you could just wear a casual outfit.

Author: admin
I’ve never grinded before and I’m going to a party/club with my friends in a couple of days
I’m worried more over how to ge the girl to dance with you
I’ve put my pelvis straight on her butt and she pushed me away the moment she saw my face:[
do you ask her"hey, u wanna dance"
Or do i go just form the back put my mouth next to her ear, and say"you looks amazing tonight, u wanna dance with me?"
or do i just go and dance without asking?
Damn, this is a toughie. I looked up the stuff and I got this.
1. Make sure the girl you wanna dance with is single and isn’t dancing with anybody, you can just say like, so who are you dancing with?
2. Try to be alone when you ask her out
3. If you can drive, drive her or meet her.
4. Tell her you look nice and you appreciate it.
5. Be by her side and don’t leave unless she needs to talk to someone or some sort of bathroom.
6. If this is an informal dance, her friends will most likely push you two together, don’t be alarmed or angry lol =D
7. If she gets to know you good( gf ), maybe say like ” May I have this dance?” But if shes just a friend, be more casual like ”Wanna dance?” or ”Would you like to dance”
8. Talk to her in the slow dances. :3
9. Give a hug when the dance is done.
10. Remember this, guys: Girls think that it’s cute and funny when guys dance in the group; leaning against the wall doesn’t work. More than likely, she won’t expect you to ask her for a dance if you don’t dance yourself.
P.S I hope you do good, oh and, like my double chin? =I)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
How can i train my body to relax?
Author: admin
I’m a martial artist and now a dancer, my biggest problem has always been inability to relax my body (I was born with hyper tension) and that holds back my ability to dance and my flexibility.
Bath isn’t an option.
Already can/do meditate.
Tai Chi could be worth a shot although I’ve already done something similar.
Meditation. Do a bit of research as methods, practices, and philosophies differ greatly.
Google: zazen. That’s a good place to start.

How long to get out of the beginner stage?
Author: admin
So after you learn the foundations of any dance, how long does it take before you can
1) master the basic steps and
2) freestyle comfortably.
And let’s say I’m practicing about 3-4 hours a days.
I would say practicing 3-4 hours a day sounds like a great idea… if you are practicing the right things. Remember practice doesn’t make perfect, practice makes PERMANENT.
My recommendation would be to not stop at the fundamentals. If you really want to get better, push yourself to the next level. As your learning progresses, the basics will become more and more natural as the difficulty increases. Mastering basic steps only comes from continuing to build upon those steps. Careful not to go too fast, but keep pushing.
We are always our own worst critics. Believe when others tell you you are doing well. They can judge how you look and how you feel to other people. You can be the only judge to how it feels to yourself, but I’ve never met anyone that was honest about that.
Main thing is, have fun, keep expanding, practice well and supervised if possible. Dance is an art not a science and there is no true measure of one’s spirit.
And how young and how far from perfect fitness do you have to be in order to do it? I’m 37, quite fit and would love to do just a little bit of that.

GCSE Dance choreography/music mixing help…?
Author: admin
I’ve chosen to base my choreography around music through time, and how the development in music has changed dance, or the other way around I guess. I was thinking some parts could be like a bit of a ‘street’ battle, with classical and modern dancers having to give way to commercial hip hop, and stuff like that. Any ideas?
Also, the music is a bit of a problem. I’d love to be able to have loads of pieces of music all into one, with them sort of colliding and blending as it goes along, from classical music at the beginning to hip hop/commercial at the end. The problem is, I have no idea whatsoever how to do this. XD My dance teachers music editing capabilities branch out as far as cropping, (which she wasn’t great at anyway, had to do it myself…) so she’s no help at all. I’ve asked around, but I don’t know anyone who can do that sort of thing.
Any help is welcomed! Message or email me if you have any questions or stuff… but thanks in advance ![]()
Hey
Check on the internet for tutorials on this… it certainly isn’t easy. I’m taking a two year GCSE in Performing Arts, i’ve already had one year and sound is really hard to get right sometimes. Choose songs with similar drum beats to blend into each other.
beginner jazz class
ages 10 & up
i’m wondering what we would learn in the class over the year and how the whole class would go from beginning to end.
im just curios on what to expect. Thanks!
You would probably start with a warm up or stretch. and then do acroos the floor and learn basics and have the teacher explain and critque u on certain moves 9your teacher will teach you in adv) and maybe they might teach you a combo if u have time and then usually a warm down. this is what will probably happen but it depends on the teacher. they will teach u everything u need to know, dont worry about it and have fun. hope i helped and never stop dancing
